Marketing Lead

Dodo Payments is a global billing and monetization platform designed for AI companies, SaaS startups, and digital product businesses. The platform helps companies accept payments worldwide, automate subscription billing, and stay compliant with international tax regulations across more than 220 countries.

The company is building a strong presence among developers and technical founders who discover products through communities like Reddit, Hacker News, developer forums, and social media platforms.

Dodo Payments is looking for a Marketing Lead who will manage the complete marketing engine and drive developer-focused growth. The role focuses on building scalable acquisition channels through content marketing, SEO, paid campaigns, partnerships, and developer community engagement.

You will work directly with the founders and play a key role in turning marketing into a reliable system for generating developer sign-ups and product adoption.

This role is based in Bengaluru and requires working from the office.

• Build and manage marketing strategies that drive developer awareness and inbound sign-ups.

• Develop SEO and content marketing initiatives targeting developers, SaaS founders, and AI startups.

• Create technical blog posts, guides, and comparison pages that attract organic traffic.

• Run and optimize paid advertising campaigns across platforms like Google, Reddit, Twitter/X, and YouTube.

• Collaborate with developer influencers, creators, and newsletter publishers to expand reach.

• Establish Dodo Payments’ presence across developer communities such as Reddit, Hacker News, Indie Hackers, and Discord.

• Track marketing performance metrics including CAC, ROAS, and channel performance.

• Build and optimize landing pages, ad creatives, and conversion funnels.

• Partner with developer communities, accelerators, and platforms to expand distribution.

• 2–4 years of experience in growth marketing, performance marketing, or content marketing.

• Hands-on experience managing paid acquisition campaigns and marketing budgets.

• Strong knowledge of SEO strategies, keyword research, and on-page optimization.

• Experience collaborating with influencers, creators, or community-driven marketing campaigns.

• Familiarity with developer ecosystems such as Reddit, Hacker News, and developer Twitter.

• Strong writing and storytelling ability for technical audiences.

• Data-driven mindset with experience measuring campaign performance.

• Ability to take ownership and build marketing systems independently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience marketing to developers or technical audiences.

• Background in SaaS, fintech, or payment platforms.

• Experience running community-driven or user-generated content campaigns.

• Familiarity with marketing tools such as Google Ads, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Webflow.

• Basic understanding of APIs, SaaS billing systems, or developer workflows.
